Stewed Catfish - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 medium sized catfish
    1 large tomato, diced
    1 medium size onion, sliced
    1 clove garlic, crushed
    1/4 c. vinegar
    1/2 c. water
    salt and pepper to taste
Preparation
    Clean catfish very well.
    Take slime off by rubbing salt onto fish; rinse well.
    Cut into serving pieces.
    Simmer tomatoes, onion, vinegar, water, salt and pepper until saucy consistency. Add catfish and simmer for 5 minutes.
    Serve hot.
