Southern Fried Chicken - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 1/2 or 2 lb. fryer
    1/2 c. light cream
    oil
    pepper
    1 egg
    flour (to roll chicken in)
    salt
Preparation
    Disjoint chicken and season.
    Beat egg lightly; add cream. Roll chicken in this mixture and then in flour.
    Fry in deep oil (not too hot) until golden brown, or tender.
