Never Fail Dumplings - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 1/2 c. flour
    3 Tbsp. Crisco
    1 egg, beaten
    1/2 tsp. salt
    5 Tbsp. water
Preparation
    Mix flour and Crisco with fork.
    Add egg, salt and water.
    Mix and divide into 3 balls, roll out each ball very thin and let dry for 20 minutes.
    Cut into small strips and drop into boiling chicken broth.
    Cook until tender, about 20 minutes.
