Lemon Flavored Pound Cake - cooking recipe
Ingredients

2 sticks oleo
3 c. sugar
8 eggs (medium size)
3 c. cake flour
1/3 tsp. soda
1/2 pt. sour cream
1 Tbsp. lemon extract
1 c. butter, softened
3 c. sugar
5 large eggs
3 c. all-purpose flour
2 tsp. baking powder
1/2 tsp. baking soda
1/2 tsp. salt
2 1/2 tsp. ground cinnamon
1/2 tsp. ground cloves
1/2 tsp. apple pie spice
2 c. canned or cooked mashed pumpkin
1/3 c. rum
Preparation

Beat butter at medium speed with electric mixer about 2 minutes or until creamy.
Gradually add sugar, beating at medium speed 5 to 7 minutes.
Add eggs, one at a time, beating just until yellow disappears.
In separate bowl, combine flour and next 6 ingredients.
In another bowl, combine pumpkin and rum.
Add flour mixture to creamed mixture, alternately with pumpkin mixture.
Mix at lowest speed just until blended after each addition.
Pour batter into a greased and floured 10-inch tube pan.
Bake at 325\u00b0 for 1 hour and 25 to 30 minutes or until a wooden toothpick inserted in center comes out clean.
Cool in pan on a wire rack and let cool completely on wire rack.
Delicious with cream cheese icing or delicious without icing.
