Latkes (Potato Pancakes) - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    4 potatoes, grated
    1 small onion, minced
    salt and pepper to taste
    1 egg
    1/2 c. flour
    1/4 tsp. baking powder
Preparation
    In a large bowl, combine thoroughly all ingredients. Drop by spoonfuls onto hot griddle and fry until golden brown on both sides. Serve with applesauce and sour cream.
