Old Fashion Lemonade - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    3/4 to 1 c. granulated sugar
    5 c. water
    3/4 c. lemon juice
    skins of 3 lemons
Preparation
    Wash and dry lemons.
    Squeeze juice from lemons.
    Combine sugar, 1 cup of water and the lemon skins.
    Simmer, covered, 6 minutes.
    Cool.
    Squeeze out skins and discard.
    Add lemon juice and remaining 4 cups water.
    Serve well iced with lemon slice garnish.
    Serves 4 to 5.
