Grand Ole Opry Salad - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 tsp. pepper
    1 tsp. salt
    1 Tbsp. water
    3/4 c. vinegar
    1/2 c. Wesson oil
    1 c. sugar
    1 c. chopped onion
    1 c. celery
    1 can Shoe Peg corn, drained
    1 chopped bell pepper
    1 can chopped pimentos
    1 can French-style string beans, drained
    1 small can English peas, drained
Preparation
    Bring to a boil and simmer for 5 minutes the salt, pepper, water, vinegar, Wesson oil and sugar.
    Stir; it may boil over. Pour over vegetables and refrigerate overnight.
