Caramel Apple Crunch Pie - cooking recipe
Ingredients

2 c. all-purpose flour
1/2 tsp. salt
2/3 c. shortening
6 to 7 Tbsp. cold water
Preparation

Combine the flour and salt. Using a pastry blender, cut in the shortening until pieces are pea size. Using a total of 6 to 7 tablespoons cold water, sprinkle 1 tablespoon water over part of the mixture and gently toss the mixture with a fork. Push the moistened dough to one side of the bowl. Repeat, using 1 tablespoon of water at a time, until all of the dough is moistened. Divide into thirds.
