Kelly'S Cookie Kisses - cooking recipe

Ingredients

1/2 c. solid shortening
1/2 c. peanut butter
1/2 c. sugar
1/2 c. brown sugar
1 egg
1 tsp. vanilla
1 1/3 c. flour
1 tsp. baking soda
1/2 tsp. salt
1/4 c. granulated sugar
2 1/2 to 3 doz. Hershey's chocolate Kisses (unwrapped)

Preparation

In a large bowl cream shortening, peanut butter, 1/2 cup sugar and brown sugar.
Beat in egg and vanilla.
In another bowl mix flour, baking soda and salt.
Gradually add to peanut butter mixture, blending thoroughly.
