Fresh Creamed Corn Casserole - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 Tbsp. oil
    salt and pepper
    water
    6 ears white field corn
    1 stick butter
    2 Tbsp. sugar
Preparation
    Grate corn well and mix with small amount of water and sugar. Put oil in iron skillet and heat well. Add corn mixture and butter. Cook until corn begins to thicken.
    (Water may need to be added, depending on amount of starch in corn.)
    Stir constantly. Sprinkle with salt and pepper.
    Cook until thick and pour into greased casserole.
    Top with slices of butter and bake in oven for 20 to 25 minutes until lightly browned.
