Tangy Slaw - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 medium sized head cabbage
1 bell pepper, chopped
1 medium onion, sliced
1 carrot, grated
1/2 c. sugar
1/4 c. salad oil
2 Tbsp. sugar
1/2 tsp. pepper
2 tsp. celery seed
1/2 c. white vinegar
1 tsp. salt
pinch of garlic powder
Preparation

Mix together and bring to a boil.
Boil for about 1 minute. Pour over cabbage mixture; toss several times, cover and refrigerate overnight or at least for 6 hours.
Will keep for at least a week if kept in refrigerator in covered container.
