No Fry Doughnuts - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 pkg. yeast
    1/4 c. warm water
    1 1/2 c. lukewarm milk
    1/2 c. sugar
    1 tsp. salt
    1 tsp. nutmeg
    1/4 tsp. cinnamon
    2 eggs
    1/3 c. shortening
    4 1/2 c. flour
    1/4 c. butter
Preparation
    In large bowl, dissolve yeast in warm water.
    Add milk, sugar, salt, nutmeg, cinnamon, eggs, shortening and 2 cups flour.
    Blend 1/2 minute at low speed.
    Beat 2 minutes at medium speed.
    Stir in remaining flour until smooth.
    Cover.
    Let rise until double. Punch down, roll (1/2-inch thick).
    Cut with doughnut cutter (floured).
    Place 2-inches apart on a greased baking sheet.
    Brush doughnuts with melted butter.
    Cover and let rise for 20 minutes. Bake at 425\u00b0 for 8 to 10 minutes.
