Sausage Biscuits - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 lb. pork sausage
    2 3/4 c. self-rising flour
    2 Tbsp. sugar
    1/2 c. shortening
    1 pkg. dry yeast
    1/4 c. warm water
    1 c. buttermilk
Preparation
    Cook
    sausage
    in a skillet until brown.
    Stir to crumble; drain well and set aside.
    Combine shortening and flour; mix well. Dissolve yeast in warm water; add sugar.
    Let stand 5 minutes. Add buttermilk while stirring well.
    Add liquid to dry ingredients.
    Stir\tjust until ingredients are moistened. Knead in sausage.
