Pineapple Turnovers - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    4 c. flour
    1 tsp. salt
    1 lb. margarine
    1 pt. sour cream
    3 egg yolks
    1 small sq. yeast
    Smuckers pineapple jam
Preparation
    Mix flour, salt and margarine as for pie dough.
    Combine sour cream, egg yolks and yeast and add to flour mixture.
    Chill dough several hours or overnight.
    Work with about 1/3 of dough at a time.
    Roll out slightly thinner than for pie dough.
    Cut into 4-inch rounds or squares and fill each with 1/2 teaspoon jam. Fold over and seal edges well with fork.
    Make a couple of slits on top for steam to escape.
    Brush with egg wash and bake at 375\u00b0 until nicely browned.
