1-2-3-4 Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 c. oleo or butter
    3 c. self-rising flour, sifted
    4 eggs
    1 tsp. vanilla
    2 c. sugar
    1 c. milk
Preparation
    Beat oleo or butter in mixing bowl.
    Add sugar, 1/2 cup at a time.
    Add eggs, one at a time, mixing well after each.
    Add flour alternately with milk, beginning and ending with flour.
    Add vanilla.
    Mix well.
    Pour evenly into three 9-inch cake pans, greased and lined with wax paper (grease paper).
    Bake at 350\u00b0 for about 30 minutes.
    Be sure they are done but do not overbake.
