Apricot Angel Delight - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 c. granulated sugar
    7 rounded Tbsp. cornstarch
    1 large can apricot nectar
    1 large angel food cake
    1 large bowl Cool Whip
    chopped pecans for top
Preparation
    Mix first three ingredients together and bring to a boil, stirring until thick, then cool slightly.
    Break the angel food cake into bite size pieces and place them in a 10 x 13-inch buttered pan.
    Pour the liquid over the cake and cool.
    Then add the Cool Whip and sprinkle pecans on the top.
    Keep refrigerated.
