Almond Crescents - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 c. butter or margarine
    2 tsp. vanilla
    1/4 c. confectioners sugar
    1 Tbsp. water
    2 c. flour
    1 c. blanched almonds (ground)
Preparation
    Cream butter and sugar, stir in water and vanilla; add flour, mix thoroughly and add almonds.
    Form into crescents 2-inches long.
    Bake on ungreased cookie sheet at 300\u00b0 until delicately browned for approximately 20 minutes.
    Roll in confectioners sugar while hot.
    Makes 2 dozen crescents.
