Dumpling Squares - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 c. flour
    1/4 tsp. baking powder
    1/4 tsp. salt
    1 egg
    1 Tbsp. milk
    1 Tbsp. melted butter
Preparation
    Beat together egg, milk and butter.
    Stir into dry ingredients. Turn out onto lightly floured board.
    Knead a few times to make a smooth dough.
    Roll out to 8 x 8-inch square.
    Cut into 16 (2-inch) squares.
    Drop into boiling broth and simmer, covered until tender, about 20 minutes to half hour.
