Carnival Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 1/4 c. sifted cake flour
    1 1/2 c. granulated sugar
    2 1/2 tsp. double-acting baking powder
    1 tsp. salt
    3/4 c. shortening
    1/2 c. milk
    1 tsp. vanilla extract
    1/2 tsp. almond extract
    3 medium eggs
    1/4 c. milk
Preparation
    Preheat oven to 375\u00b0.
    Grease, then line with wax paper, the bottom of two 1 1/2 x 9-inch layer pans.
