Moondrop Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 box yellow cake mix
    1 (16 oz.) container sour cream
    1 c. sugar
    1 (20 oz.) can crushed pineapple (undrained)
    2 (1 lb.) containers whipped topping
Preparation
    Bake cake according to package directions for a round cake. Mix together sour cream, sugar and crushed pineapple with juice. Reserve 1 cup of this mixture for icing.
    Slice cake in half to make 4 layers.
    Place 1 layer on plate.
    Cover with pineapple mixture.
    Continue this, then leave top layer uncovered.
    Combine whipped topping with the cup of pineapple mixture; put on top and sides.
    Cover cake and refrigerate.
    This cake looks like a large snowball.
