Buttermilk Pound Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 c. shortening
    3 c. flour
    3 c. sugar
    1 c. buttermilk
    1 tsp. vanilla
    6 eggs
    1/4 tsp. salt
    1/4 tsp. baking soda
Preparation
    Cream shortening and sugar.
    Add 2 eggs at a time and beat after each.
    Add flour and salt gradually.
    Mix soda in buttermilk and alternate with flour.
    Bake for 1 1/2 hours at 275\u00b0 in gas stove or 300\u00b0 in electric stove.
    Do not open oven.
    Grease and flour pan well.
