Sicilian Supper - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 lb. ground beef
    1/2 c. chopped onion
    1 (6 oz.) can tomato paste
    3/4 c. milk
    1/4 tsp. pepper
    1 1/2 tsp. salt
    1 (8 oz.) pkg. cream cheese
    1/2 c. grated Parmesan cheese
    1/2 tsp. garlic salt
    1/2 c. chopped green pepper
    2 c. cooked egg noodles
Preparation
    Brown meat; add onion and cook until tender.
    Add tomato paste and 1 cup water; salt and pepper and simmer 20 to 30 minutes. Heat milk and cream cheese in saucepan over medium heat.
    Blend well.
    Stir in 1/4 cup Parmesan cheese, garlic salt and green pepper and noodles.
    In 9 x 13-inch casserole, alternate layers of noodles and meat sauce.
    Bake at 350\u00b0
    for 20 minutes.
    Sprinkle remaining Parmesan cheese on top before serving.
