Caramel Dip - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 1/2 c. sugar
    6 Tbsp. margarine
    1/2 tsp. salt
    1/2 c. light corn syrup
    1 c. whipping cream
    1/2 tsp. vanilla
Preparation
    Combine
    sugar,
    syrup, 3 tablespoons margarine and 1/2 cup cream;
    bring
    to
    full
    boil.
    Gradually add rest of the margarine and cream to soft ball stage.
    Add salt and vanilla. Serve with sliced apples and bananas.
