Escalloped Chicken(Mildred Gregory) - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 chicken, cooked and diced
    1 c. chicken fat or butter
    salt and pepper to taste
    4 c. broth
    2 c. milk
    6 eggs, well beaten
    2 large pieces celery, chopped
    1 onion, chopped
    1/2 c. butter
    parsley
    1 1/2 loaves bread
    1 tsp. poultry seasoning
    6 tsp. chicken broth
Preparation
    Melt fat or butter, add salt, pepper, milk, broth.
    Stir in eggs.
    Saute celery and onions in butter for 5 minutes.
    Pour mixture over bread.
    Mix well.
    Add chicken and put in a buttered baking dish.
    Cover with buttered crumbs.
    Bake at 375\u00b0 for 20 minutes.
