Oven Caramel Corn - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    6 qt. popped, unsalted corn
    2 c. brown sugar
    2 sticks butter or margarine
    1/2 c. white corn syrup
    1 tsp. soda
    nut meats (if desired)
    1 tsp. vanilla (if desired)
    1 tsp. salt
Preparation
    Boil brown sugar, syrup, salt and butter for 5 minutes. Remove from heat.
    Add soda and 1 teaspoon vanilla.
    Pour mixture over warmed popcorn and stir well.
    Spread in pan.
    Place in 200\u00b0 oven for 1 hour, stirring every 15 minutes.
    Let cool.
