Gravy Baked Pork Chops - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    4 pork chops
    1/4 tsp. salt
    dash of pepper
    1 Tbsp. shortening
    1 can cream of chicken or mushroom soup
    2/3 c. evaporated milk
    1/3 c. water
    1 small onion
Preparation
    Salt and lightly pepper pork chops.
    Brown chops in shortening and drain off drippings.
    Pour a mixture of soup, milk and water over chops.
    Add a thinly sliced onion if desired. Bake at 350\u00b0 for 45 minutes.
    Stir gravy well before serving.
