Peanut Butter Streusel Pie - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 (10 oz.) pie shell, baked
    1/3 c. peanut butter
    3/4 c. powdered sugar
    1/3 c. flour
    1/2 c. sugar
    1/8 tsp. salt
    2 c. milk
    3 eggs
    2 Tbsp. butter
    1 tsp. vanilla
    1/4 tsp. cream of tartar
    1/2 c. sugar
    1 Tbsp. cornstarch
Preparation
    Mix by hand peanut butter and powdered sugar until mealy; put 2/3 of it over the bottom of baked shell.
    Take flour, sugar and salt; combine in double boiler with rest of the peanut butter mixture.
    Take scalded milk; add slowly to flour mixture and cook until thickened, stirring constantly.
    Beat 3 egg yolks and add to hot mixture slowly; cook a few minutes longer.
    After done, add butter and vanilla.
    Top with meringue.
    Bake at 350\u00b0 for 12 to 15 minutes.
