Chili Rellenos Casserole - cooking recipe
Ingredients

2 (4 oz.) cans green chilies
1 lb. ground beef
1/2 c. chopped onion
1 1/2 c. (6 oz.) Cheddar cheese
1 c. whipping cream
1/2 c. water
4 eggs
1/2 tsp. salt
dashes of Tabasco and pepper
Preparation

Drain chilies, cut in half lengthwise.
Remove seeds.
Brown beef and onion, drain off fat.
Place 1/2 the chilies in 10 x 6 x 1 1/2-inch baking dish.
Sprinkle with cheese.
Top with meat mixture.
Arrange rest of chilies.
Combine all other ingredients. Beat until smooth.
Pour over chilies.
Bake at 350\u00b0 for 45 to 50 minutes or until knife inserted shows done.
