Pecan Pie - Georgia Style - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    3 whole eggs
    1/2 c. Pet milk
    1 Tbsp. melted butter
    2 c. pecan pieces
    1/4 c. sugar
    1 pt. Karo syrup (half red and half white)
    1 tsp. vanilla
    2 tsp. flour
    dash of salt
    1 (9-inch) pie shell
Preparation
    Beat eggs just until mixed well.
    Add syrup and milk.
    Mix sugar, flour and salt.
    Add to egg mixture and blend until well mixed.
    Add vanilla.
    Let stand for several hours overnight is best.
    Pour into a fluted pie shell and bake at 425\u00b0 until crust is brown.
    Reduce to 350\u00b0 heat and bake until filling is set, approximately 40 to 45 minutes.
