Oven Corn Bread - cooking recipe

1 c. plain flour
1/4 c. sugar
4 tsp. baking powder
dash of salt
1/4 c. shortening or oil
1 c. milk
1 egg
Preparation

Beat egg.
Stir dry ingredients together, then combine with liquids.
Stir until smooth.
Cook at 425\u00b0 about 15 to 20 minutes.
