Canuck Stew - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    8 slices bacon
    6 Tbsp. flour
    8 c. water
    2 sliced onions
    2 c. shredded dried beef
    6 sliced potatoes
Preparation
    Cut bacon in 1-inch pieces.
    Fry until most of the grease is extracted.
    Remove bacon and put flour in the fat.
    Blend smooth, then add water slowly.
    Stir and cook until flour thickens, then add dried beef, potatoes and onions.
    Cover skillet and cook 20 minutes.
    Thin with a little hot water if too thick.
    Serves 4.
