Ingredients

3/4 c. flour
1/2 c. whole-wheat flour
1/4 c. toasted wheat germ
1 tsp. baking powder
1/2 tsp. baking soda
1/4 tsp. salt
1 Tbsp. sugar
1 1/2 c. low-fat buttermilk
1 egg, lightly beaten
2 Tbsp. canola oil
Preparation

Stir the first seven ingredients together with a fork.\tAdd buttermilk, egg and canola oil.
Grill on waffle iron, according to directions.
Makes 8 waffles.
