Cherry Dessert - cooking recipe

Ingredients

1 1/3 c. flaked coconut
2 Tbsp. melted oleo
2 Tbsp. sugar
1/2 to 1 c. vanilla cookies, crumbled
22 large marshmallows or 2 1/2 c. small marshmallows
1/2 c. hot milk
1 pkg. Dream Whip, prepared as directed
1 can cherry pie filling

Preparation

Coconut Crust:
Mix together coconut, melted oleo, sugar and vanilla cookies, crumbled.
Line the bottom of a 13 x 9-inch pan. Bake at 375\u00b0 until light colored.
