Sauerbraten - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    5 lb. beef
    1 Tbsp. sugar
    2 Tbsp. salt
    1 Tbsp. Worcestershire sauce
    1/2 bottle ketchup
    8 allspices (whole)
    6 bay leaves
    8 cloves (whole)
    1 c. vinegar
    1 onion
    2 beef bouillon cubes
Preparation
    Cover beef with water.
    Add other ingredients and cook.
    Add 2 cups water when meat is done.
    Strain gravy and thicken.
    Serve over noodles.
