Chocolate-Dipped Strawberries Without Tears - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 dozen strawberries
6 oz. semisweet or white chocolate
Finely chopped nuts, jimmies, coconut, etc. (optional)
Preparation

Select large ripe unblemished strawberries, with stems if possible.
Wipe strawberries with a paper towel.
If you have to rinse them, dry well.
If strawberries are wet, chocolate will not adhere.
Place strawberries 2 inches apart on wax paper-lined cookie sheet and refrigerate.
If strawberries are cold when you dip them, chocolate will set quickly.
Chop chocolate into very small chunks and place in small deep bowl.
This allows dipping of strawberries up to hulls.
Melt chopped chocolate in microwave on high (100 percent power) for 1 minute.
Remove and stir until smooth.
White chocolate might need another 30 seconds.
