Crumb Pudding - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 oz. unsweetened chocolate
    1/2 c. milk
    1/2 c. butter
    4 egg yolks, well beaten
    1/2 c. sugar
    2 c. soft bread crumbs
    1 c. blanched, shredded almonds
    4 egg whites, beaten stiff
Preparation
    Heat chocolate, milk and butter together in top of double boiler until chocolate is melted.
    Mix egg yolks and sugar together and add a small amount of hot mixture. Return to double boiler and cook for 3 minutes. Add crumbs and almonds.
    Fold in egg whites. Cover double boiler. Steam for 30 minutes. Serve hot with lemon sauce or whipped cream.
