Asparagus Bake - cooking recipe
Ingredients

2 (10 oz.) pkg. frozen asparagus spears
1/4 c. butter
2 Tbsp. bread crumbs
3 Tbsp. chopped onion
3 Tbsp. chopped celery
1 tomato, chopped
1/4 tsp. basil
1/4 tsp. thyme
2 Tbsp. Parmesan cheese
Preparation

Microwave frozen asparagus 3 minutes on High.
On 12-inch round microwave platter, arrange asparagus spears spoke fashion with tips to center.
Melt butter (1 tablespoon) and add to bread crumbs.
Set aside.
Sprinkle onion, celery and tomato pieces over asparagus, drizzle with remaining butter.
Sprinkle with basil and thyme.
Cover with plastic (vented); microwave 10 to 11 minutes, turning platter after 5 minutes.
Sprinkle with Parmesan cheese and buttered crumbs.
