Mexican Corn Bread - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 c. cornmeal
    1/3 c. all-purpose flour
    2 Tbsp. sugar
    1 tsp. salt
    2 tsp. baking powder
    1/2 tsp. baking soda
    2 eggs
    1 c. buttermilk
    1/2 c. vegetable oil
    1 can cream-style corn
    1/3 c. chopped onion
    1 (8 oz.) hot salsa
    1/2 c. shredded Cheddar cheese
Preparation
    In a mixing bowl, combine first six ingredients.
    Combine remaining ingredients; add this to dry ingredients and mix only until moistened.
    Pour into a 9 x 13-inch baking dish or pan. Bake at 350\u00b0 for 30 to 40 minutes, or until bread is a golden brown and tests done.
    Serves 8 to 10.
