Vegetarian Chili - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 (15 1/2 oz.) can red kidney beans, drained
    1 (15 oz.) Great Northern beans, drained
    1 (14 1/2 oz.) can tomatoes, cut up
    1 (8 oz.) can tomato sauce
    3/4 c. chopped green pepper
    1/2 c. chopped onion
    1 Tbsp. chili powder
    1 tsp. sugar
    1/2 tsp. dried basil
    2 cloves minced garlic
    2 c. hot cooked rice
Preparation
    Put all ingredients except rice in large saucepan.
    Add 1 cup water; bring to boiling.
    Reduce heat and simmer covered for 15 minutes.
    Top each serving with 1/2 cup hot cooked rice.
    Serves 6.
