Bud'S Favorite Rhubarb - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    3 c. day old bread
    1/2 c. butter
    red food coloring
    1 c. sugar
    2 c. rhubarb, cut into 1 inch pieces
Preparation
    Remove crust from bread and cube.
    Melt butter and dash of red coloring.
    Coat the bread with butter mixture and add sugar; mix well until the bread is sugared.
    Fold rhubarb into sugared bread mixture.
    Pour into baking dish.
    Put 1 tablespoon water in each corner of pan.
    Do not mix.
    Bake at 325\u00b0 for 45 minutes.
    Good as a vegetable or dessert.
    Serves 6.
