Luncheon Dish - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    Potatoes
    1 med. onion
    2 Tbsp. uncooked rice
    1 lb. lean hamburger
    1 c. tomato juice
Preparation
    Place a layer of sliced potatoes in a buttered casserole, then the following in layers, ending with a layer of potatoes:
    1 medium finely chopped onion, 2 Tbsp. uncooked rice, 1 lb. lean hamburger, salt and pepper to taste, 1 c. tomato juice, and 1/2 pint boiling water.
