Peanut Brittle - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 c. sugar
    2 c. peanuts
    1/2 c. white Karo syrup
    1 Tbsp. water
    dash of salt
    1 tsp. soda
Preparation
    Combine first 5 ingredients together.
    Cook at low heat.
    Do not stir too often.
    Cook until syrup is dark brown and peanuts are cooked brown.
    Remove and add soda.
    Pour into buttered pan and let cool.
