Butternut Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 c. Crisco
    4 eggs
    1/2 c. self-rising flour
    2 tsp. baking powder
    2 c. sugar
    2 1/2 c. plain flour
    1 c. buttermilk
    1 tsp. butternut flavoring
Preparation
    Cream Crisco and
    sugar
    well.\tSift plain flour, self-rising flour and baking powder
    together.\tAdd
    eggs
    one at a time, beating after each addition.
    Add flour alternately with milk. Add flavoring.
    Mix well.
    Bake in 3 layer pans at 350\u00b0 for 20 to 25 minutes.
