Crab Cakes With Avocado Sauce - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    8 oz. crabmeat
    1/4 tsp. fresh ground pepper
    1/4 tsp. dried thyme
    1 Tbsp. chives, chopped
    1/8 tsp. Tabasco sauce
    1/4 tsp. salt
    3 Tbsp. mayonnaise
    1 1/2 slices bread, processed to make 3/4 c. crumbs
    2 Tbsp. peanut oil
Preparation
    Mix crabmeat and all of the ingredients with the exception of the breadcrumbs.
    Add breadcrumbs and toss lightly.
    Divide mixture into 4 patties.
    Handle gently, it should barely hold together.
    Heat skillet and add oil.
    When hot, add patties carefully and saute gently over medium heat for 3 to 4 minutes on each side.
