Oven Ranch Potatoes - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    6 large Russet potatoes, peeled and sliced thin
    3/4 or 1 c. milk
    1/2 c. Ranch dressing
    1 green onion
    1/2 tsp. salt
    2 Tbsp. margarine
    2 Tbsp. cornstarch
    4 to 6 slices American cheese
Preparation
    Cook potatoes approximately 5 to 7 minutes, just until tender (do not overcook).
    Drain and place in a baking dish.
