Apple Crisp - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1/4 c. all-purpose flour
    1/4 c. butter
    2/3 c. brown sugar, firmly packed
    1/2 c. slightly crushed cornflakes
    2 lb. tart cooking apples (6 medium)
    1 Tbsp. lemon juice
Preparation
    Mix flour, butter and brown sugar with tips of fingers until thoroughly blended.
    Add cornflakes and mix well.
    Peel and slice apples into buttered baking dish, 10 x 6 x 2-inch.
    Pack firmly. Sprinkle with lemon juice and top with cornflake mixture.
    Bake in a moderately hot oven (375\u00b0) for 30 minutes or until apples are tender.
    Serve warm or cold with cream.
    Makes 4 to 5 servings.
