Jeff'S Clam Chowder - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    bacon
    2 carrots
    2 stalks celery
    1/2 bell pepper
    1 onion
    garlic cloves
    2 bottles clam juice
    1/2 tsp. pepper
    bay leaf
    1/2 tsp. Tabasco
    2 tsp. Worcestershire
    1 tsp. thyme
    4 c. whipping cream
    1 1/2 lb. red potatoes
    50 oz. clams, chopped
Preparation
    Cook bacon until crispy.
    Drain.
    Saute carrots, celery, onion, pepper and garlic in 2 tablespoons bacon drippings until soft.
    Add potatoes (1/2-inch cubes) and add clam juice.
    Boil, then simmer until tender.
    Add seasoning, clams and bacon.
    Heat and serve.
