Easy Potato Soup - cooking recipe
Ingredients

2 to 3 slices bacon
1 small onion, diced
5 medium potatoes, cubed
2 Tbsp. margarine
1/2 c. chopped celery
1 small carrot, diced
2 cans chicken broth
1 to 2 Tbsp. parsley flakes
1 1/2 c. milk or half and half
4 Tbsp. cornstarch
dash of Worcestershire sauce
pepper to taste
Preparation

In a 3-quart saucepan, cook bacon.
Set aside and crumble. Drain grease.
Melt margarine and cook onion and celery until soft.
Add chicken broth, potatoes, carrots, parsley and bacon. Cook until potatoes are done, about 20 to 25 minutes.
Blend together milk and cornstarch; stir into broth.
Heat thoroughly; do not boil.
Add Worcestershire and pepper.
Top serving dishes with dash of pepper and more bacon bits, if desired.
