Butter Baked Rice - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    4 c. water
    4 tsp. salt
    2 c. rice
    3 1/2 c. chicken broth (can use 4 bouillon cubes in 3 1/2 c. water)
    2/3 c. butter
    dash of garlic salt
    parsley flakes
    1/2 c. slivered almonds
Preparation
    Bring water and salt to a boil.
    Pour over rice; let stand 30 minutes.
    Rinse with cold water; drain well.
    Melt butter in skillet.
    Add rice; saute over medium heat until butter is absorbed, about 5 minutes.
    Put into a 9 x 13-inch baking pan; pour chicken broth over it.
    Sprinkle with garlic salt.
    Bake, covered, at 325\u00b0 for 45 minutes.
    Add some parsley flakes; fluff with a fork.
    Sprinkle with slivered almonds.
    Bake, uncovered, for 10 more minutes.
    Serves 12.
