Vidalia Onion Casserole - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    4 medium Vidalia onions, sliced
    12 saltine crackers, crushed
    1 stick margarine
    1 can cream of mushroom soup (undiluted)
    2 eggs
    1/2 to 1 c. milk
    salt and pepper to taste
    grated sharp Cheddar cheese
Preparation
    Melt margarine and cook onions until tender.
    Butter casserole dish (1-quart to 1 1/2-quart) and line with cracker crumbs. Add onions and soup.
    Sprinkle with grated cheese and a few more cracker crumbs.
    Bake at 350\u00b0 until brown and bubbly, 30 to 45 minutes.
